High Barnet Police Station
High Barnet Police Station

I recently visited High Barnet Police Station, which was closed to the public several years ago as a result of plans originally set out by Boris Johnson when he was Mayor of London.

Whilst officers still use the station, it remains closed to members of the public, meaning residents have to travel all the way to Colindale if they need to speak to a police officer over the counter.

During my tour of the station, I learned about the possibilities for bringing it back into public use. Unfortunately, the funding simply isn’t available at present. However, I will continue fighting every day to ensure this station isn’t permanently closed or sold off.

This building must remain here because one day I hope we can get it back open to the public. Our community deserves access to local police services without having to make long journeys across the borough.

I know many of you share my view that High Barnet Police Station should be serving our community once again, and I won’t stop pushing for that to become a reality.
