About Dan Tomlinson MP

Dan Tomlinson is the first Labour Member of Parliament for Chipping Barnet. 

As a local MP, Dan is focused on reducing crime and making the community safer, helping our high streets to thrive once more, and standing up for the suburbs. 

Dan is driven by improving living standards for all and is committed to doing all he can for a better Chipping Barnet. 

You can find Dan out and about chatting to constituents at events across Chipping Barnet, or at one of his regular Tea with Tomlinson events or street stalls. 

He was the Minister responsible for HMRC and tax policy until July 2026, when he was appointed Growth Minister, which spans HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office. Learn more about Dan’s role.
