Dan Tomlinson MP's
Car Theft Survey

The level of car theft in Barnet is unacceptable.

After listening to the concerns and experiences at the doorsteps of constituents during the election campaign, I pledged to put together a car theft summit to help us tackle this scourge together.

I have been speaking to police and other local stakeholders, and planning for this is underway.

I believe it is vital to hear from local residents about your experiences of car theft, so that we can tackle this problem as effectively as possible.

I'd like to understand more about your experience with car theft. Please share as much detail as you're comfortable providing. Your input on the following would be particularly helpful:

1) The circumstances under which the car was stolen
(time of day, whether you were in, what precautions you had taken to secure the vehicle)
2) How the theft was carried out (if you know this)
3) What kind of car was stolen
4) What response you received from the police
5) If and how the matter was resolved
6) How this experience made you or those impacted feel
This survey has been designed to gather feedback, idea and experiences from residents on the issue of car theft in Barnet. Information collected from the survey will be used to inform Dan Tomlinson MP's work in Chipping Barnet and in Parliament.

Participation is voluntary and it should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Responses are not anonymous.
